Can't concentrate with bedbugs!

So I recently moved to Illinois from Florida for college and to be close to my dad. 2 weeks after I moved here our apartment got attacked with bedbugs. We're guessing they came from the upstairs neighbor because the day before I got bit we smelled fumes which we eventually figured out came from a bug bomb (DON'T USE BUG BOMBS!! THEY JUST SPREAD THE BUGS THEY DON'T DIE!! SO YOU MIGHT JUST END UP INFECTING OTHER PEOPLE!!!) I also discovered that I'm allergic to these bites. I had to go to the ER yesterday because it was so bad. Not many people know this but this is really traumatizing and can hit anyone! I'm a neat freak and keep the apartment as clean as I can and we still got hit. We've been cleaning and washing everything for the past few days and this is draining our accounts since we keep buying anti-itch cream and washing everything.

I haven't been able to write because I cannot concentrate with these bites itching every second of the day. And this is the first week back in school! I'm already not doing good and that worries me so much! So if anyone's reading this post, go online now and look up ways to prevent these little demons because it is mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Terrorists and serial killers yes but not my worst enemy.

News

Loads of different random news. I moved from Florida to Illinois for college so I've barely had time to write. I might be able to find time soon though. Hopefully. But with Caught In Between I'm 21,000 words in and for Kida's story I'm about 10,000 words in last I checked. Three Strong Words is doing better than I expected! :D Even though chances are that it's my family and friends buying the books I sold more than I anticipated and I got a 4 star rating over at Goodreads and no one I know even knows about that website which means someone I don't personally know has actually read and liked it!! :D That makes me so happy! :D

Other random non-book related news. I'm a huge Misfits (UK TV show) fan and I ended up with a last paycheck from my job in Florida that I wasn't expecting at all (I thought the previous paycheck was the last one) so I had enough money to buy a Misfits hoodie!! :D Can't wait until it ships although I have to wait until September 14. :( but I'm still excited about getting it! :D Now I'm off to finish eating some Whitey's ice cream and writing. :)
